Welcome!
I’m new to freelance editing, but I love it. I have an eye for detail and catch many common writing mistakes on a daily basis, sometimes even from experienced writers.
So if you want to share your writing with the world, consider working with me to bring the best version of it to life!
Books are typically edited by more than one editor, and each of the editors usually specializes in a different type of editing. This ensures that your book is refined and polished as thoroughly as possible, and no errors slip by unnoticed. The different types of editing services I provide are described below so you can decide how I can help you and your book the most.
Types of edits

Content Edit ($20/hour)
A content editor will read your newly-finished manuscript, revise and possibly rearrange sentences and paragraphs, and check for accuracy and consistency. This will help readers feel more comfortable reading your book.

Copy Edit ($20/hour)
This is my specialty. After the content edit, a copy edit is needed in order to polish the spelling, capitalization, punctuation and grammar. Little things like these make a big impact on a book’s professionalism and quality.

Hybrid Edit ($27/hour)
Maybe you can’t afford two edits, or you’d rather just have the editing process done sooner. Whatever the case, you can kill two birds with one stone with a hybrid combination of content editing and copy editing.

It starts with hello! Introduce yourself and your project to me, and let me know what kind of edit you would like me to do for you. I will take it from there and give you the rest of the details!
